From 27 to 30 January, in the frame of Expo Dubai 2020, the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza/Aterballetto presents Virtual Dance for Real People, a new form of immersive dance project promoting 3 MicroDances co-produced with the Fondazione Palazzo Magnani in Reggio Emilia. Virtual Dance for Real People is a provocation, an experiment that combines dance and technology through the use of VR and 360° video. The performances, presented through oculus (Shelter by Saul Daniele Ardillo, Kepler and Meridiana by Diego Tortelli), nevertheless defend the special relationship with the spectator: technology is not an object but the language of a new work, of a digital but never abstract dance.
Event promoted and supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region.
