Valerio Longo and Simone Beneventi present Nine Bells before their debut in the Fonderia on October 10.
Nine Bells is a performance for a dancer-choreographer, a percussionist, nine bells and a light designer, on the work of the composer Tom Johnson, born from the meeting between Valerio, until July 2018 dancer of Aterballetto, with the music of Simone, percussionist already awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Music Biennale 2010.
The support to the project of the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza, in collaboration with the Associazione La Sfera Danza, confirms the centrality of the interest in the relationship between music and dance, as well as being a sign of esteem and recognition towards a historical dancer of the company, now on its way to an independent path of creative maturity.
