From June 6th to July 4th, 2024, at the garden of the medieval Castello dell’Acciaiolo in Scandicci, Stazione Utopia presents, also for 2024, Nutida | Nuovə Danzatorə: a dance festival inspired by the relationship with the place and its inhabitants, supporting new generations of dancers, and featuring site-specific performances conceived or adapted in a “nude” form, in a garden, outdoors, during summer, at sunset.
For the occasion, we will present, in its preview, An Echo, a wave by Philippe Kratz, performed by Federica Lamonaca and Giovanni Leone.
There is probably no other view like that of the sea that can come close to explaining the difficult concept of eternity. It hypnotizes us and can fill us with spiritual awe. Watching the flow of movement of a dancer, we sometimes rediscover that natural motion of marine surfaces.
