Matteo was born in Italy in 1996 and started his dance studies at the Dance School ” La Capriola” in Modena. He attended the iBStage-International summer program in Spain and completed his studies at the Peridance Capezio Center (Certificate Program) in New York.

His artistic career began in the company MdDanza, under the direction of Veronica Sassi, where he worked with several Italian choreographers, including Alessia Gatta, Silvia Martiradonna and Michele Pogliani.

In 2014 he took part in the Botega Dance Company’s production Giselle by Enzo Celli.

He had been a member of Peridance Contemporary Dance Company until Season 2020. He worked with international choreographers such as Igal Perry, Ido Tadmor, Marlena Wolfe, Adam Barruch, Norbert De La Cruz, Yoshito Sakuraba, Alice Klock, Yin Yue.
He also collaborated with Manuel Vignoulle – M/motions, Satellite Collective, Phil Orsano, Vivake Khamsingsavath, Bennyroyce Royon and Alexandre Hammoudi.

In Italy he has received several 1st prize awards in international dance competitions: Concorso Internazionale di Danza “Città di Rieti”, Concorso Internazionale di Danza “Città di Pinerolo”, Salieri Danza International Competition, Concorso Internazionale di danza Città di Udine, Agliana-Danza, DanzaSi and Kontejner Festival in Rome.

In September 2021 Matteo joined Aterballetto.
