Leonardo was born in Italy in 2000. From 2009 to 2015 he studied at Centro Studi Dimensione Danza in La Spezia, under the direction of Laura Carassale and Massimo Frumento. During this period he attended several international workshops such as “Dance Out” in Rome, “Eventi Danza Verona” in Verona, a workshop organised by Aed in Livorno, the summer workshop organised by DAW Dancer at Work, “Trentino Danza Estate” in Tesero, “Accademia Ucraina di Balletto” workshop in Alassio and a workshop organised by Opus Ballett in Florence. In 2015-2016 he attended the International project for dancers DAF Dance Arts Faculty directed by Mauro Astolfi and the following year he joined the DAW – Dancer at Work course directed by Eugenio Buratti.
From 2017 to 2019 he trained with Loredana Rovagna at the Centro Studi Danza in La Spezia, under her direction, and took part in the shows scheduled at Teatro Civico with the CSD Group “Junior Golfo dei Poeti Danza” for the long-term project “Educardanzando a Teatro”. Masterclass at CSD with Maestros Michele Abbondanza and Antonella Bertoni.
As a performer in the choreographies by Loredana Rovagna, he won scholarships in the two editions of 2018 and 2019 of the choreographic showcase “What We Are” in Udine directed by Elisabetta Ceron and he attended the Ballet Summer School at the Palucca Hochschule fur Tanz Dresden and the theatrical/choreographic workshop at Civica Accademia d’Arte Drammatica Nico Pepe in Udine with the company Arearea directed by Roberto Cocconi and Marta Bevilacqua.

From 2019 to 2021 he was a member of the IT Dansa Jove Companya in Barcelona, where he worked on choreographies such as Kaash by Akram Khan, Minus 16 by Ohad Naharin, Whim, a fractured fairytale by Alexander Ekman, In Memoriam by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, A Picture of you falling by Crystal Pite, The Prom by Lorena Nogal and Wad Ras by Montse Sanchez.

In September 2021 he joined Aterballetto.
