Born in Italy in 1995, he trained at the Accademia Susanna Beltrami in Milan.

From the 2016/17 season he began his career as a professional dancer, working with Compagnia Susanna Beltrami, Gruppo MK, ESKLAN art’s factory, Déjà Donné, Sanpapié, Ariella Vidach AIEP. Giovanni has danced in creations by Susanna Beltrami, Matteo Bittante, Michele Di Stefano, Erika Silgoner, Lara Guidetti, Virginia Spallarossa, Diego Tortelli, Philippe Kratz.

He has collaborated with Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto for two site-specific projects by Diego Tortelli: A Poetry Abstraction (2018) and Stanze/Rooms (2022).

From 2020 to 2022 he was Associate Artist of the DANCEHAUSpiù Dance Production Centre and created Floating and Out of the Blue.

In August 2022 he joins Compagnia Aterballetto.
