After Athens (Acropolis Museum, EMST Museum, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Greek National Opera), Brussels (Les Halles de Schaerbeek) and Rome (Castel Sant’Angelo), the site-specific performance MicroDanze signed Fondazione Nazionale della Danza/Aterballetto arrives in Brescia, thanks to the project of Fondazione Brescia Musei and FND/Aterballetto, for a great event conceived for Brescia and declined in its civic museums, in the year of the Italian Capital of Culture 2023.
MicroDanze Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2023 Brescia/Performance di danza in percorsi urbani is an ambitious project of “danced” performances.
Styles and expressive worlds confront and mix in a single project addressing both art and performing arts audiences. It is a project that aims to explore the potential of dance as public art, grafted into an urban landscape; dance that creatively wanders between very different choreographers, creating radically new opportunities for encounters with the public and for comparison between significant European urban contexts.
