REGGIONARRA 2024 COMES TO THE FONDERIA

After last year’s success, Reggionarra 2024 returns to enliven the halls of our Foundry in Reggio Emilia on Sunday, May 26th, for a morning entirely dedicated to children and families.

FAMILY CONTACT: THE WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Sunday, May 26th – 10:00 AM | Foundry

The body has its own laws and follows a logic that, however, is not necessarily that of reason” (Kazuo Ono)

The body is an expressive tool capable of establishing relationships, creating forms, and interpreting stories and music. The encounter with dance is an important opportunity for both physical and emotional growth. Family Contact is a moment of sharing between children and parents that aims to explore new worlds. Being together through the body, movement, and physical contact, creating and building a new harmonic union. Parents and children will experience new relationships, new spaces, new languages, all through the body that will enjoy improvising and experimenting with new collective games, in a non-verbal dialogue rich in human connections. With Family Contact, time stops and imagination takes over.

The workshop is led by Laura Matano, choreographer and performer

For children aged 5 to 10 – accompanied by one parent

THE SHOW: STRAVAGANZE IN SOL MINORE BY FRANCESCA LATTUADA

Sunday, May 26th – 11:30 AM | Foundry

The magical virtuosity of Toti Scialoja (1914-1998), a master not only of images but also of words, is the foundation of this new creation for boys and girls, signed by the National Dance Foundation / Aterballetto.

The almost magical vibrations that emanate from Scialoja’s poems are like the infinite rings created on the water’s surface when a stone is thrown: evocative of unreal or hyperreal images, carriers of a musicality that mixes poetry and nursery rhyme, they make the extraordinary and the terrifying shake hands.
