DANZA IN FONDERIA: FEBRUARY’S GUESTS
The Danza in Fonderia program continues in February. This month, Fonderia will host two open rehearsals featuring previews of the new creations by Irene Russolillo and Claudio Larena, an evening showcasing the new performance by Equilibrio Dinamico and two events featuring Aterballetto. During the latter, the audience will have the opportunity to attend Rhapsody in Blue, the new production premiering on February 17, 2024, at the Teatro Regio in Parma.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 / FàTICO – OPEN REHEARSAL

Irene Russolillo / ORBITA|Spellbound
Tuesday, February 6 / 8:30 PM
FÀTICO is a choreographic and musical project in which singing and dance set the pace for three prayers. On stage, two performers equipped with microphones in contact with the skin serve as an extension of the body, acting as the trigger for an almost physical relationship with the audience, thanks to the instrument provided by the vocal act.
The performance will be premiered on February 18 by ORBITA|Spellbound in collaboration with Festival Equilibrio, at the Teatro Palladium in Rome.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11 / ANASTASIA – THE LAST DAUGHTER OF THE TSAR

Equilibrio Dinamico / La luna nel letto
Wednesday, January 24 / 6:00 PM
Berlin, 1920. A woman, having been saved from death in a canal and after months of silence in a hospital, reveals herself to be Anastasia, the last daughter of the Romanovs, the Russian royals massacred by Bolshevik militias in 1918. A survivor. One of the most mysterious cases of the twentieth century. Is it her or isn’t it?
The music sets the rhythm, and time flows, escaping like a horse, relentless, leaving particles of memory and desire, which become a timeless dance. The dance bursts into space and, in dialogue with video projections, recreates distant places that transform, broaden, and crumble the walls of the hospital in which Anastasia is trapped in the search for herself.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22 – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23 / Aterballetto Company
