Season’s Greetings from CCN/Aterballetto with ‘Golden Days’
The year 2023 comes to a close, and we bid farewell with a cornerstone of our repertoire: the grand finale of this vibrant year is Johan Inger‘s Golden Days, staged in France at the Théâtre de la Cité in Toulouse from December 20 to 23, 2023. To kick off the new season on the right note, the performance returns on January 12 at 8:30 PM in the Fonderia of Reggio Emilia. It’s an opportunity to start the new year together, anticipating new and surprising golden days.
During the evening, the smoky atmospheres of Rain Dogs meet BLISS and its smiles through the ironic female solo of Birdland, guiding the audience on a nostalgic and sweet journey set to the unforgettable notes of Tom Waits, Patti Smith, and Keith Jarret.

THE YEAR 2023 OF CCN/ATERBALLETTO
In 2023, CCN/Aterballetto navigated a year filled with challenges and exciting developments. Our dance tours across Italy and internationally broadened our audience base. We introduced new productions to enrich our repertoire, eagerly anticipating their debut on stage next year.
The highlight was Over Dance, an internationally acclaimed show featuring dancers over 65, premiering in Paris and embarking on a unique tour. Simultaneously, we continued our commitment to cultural welfare, working on projects that strengthen our connection with the local community and cater to its needs.
During 2023, a collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Italian Cultural Institutes led to the creation of Italia Danza. This project, in partnership with the Director General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy, showcased MicroDanze in a five-stop journey across Europe and Africa.
Looking ahead, we outlined fresh artistic and project directions, prioritizing experimentation and innovative expression, which we plan to delve into more deeply in 2024.
