May in Fonderia
Here we are in May, with the last appointments of our dance programme in the Fonderia.
Figures of women who are symbols of independence of thought, of strength and courage and at the same time of fragility in the face of violence and abuse. Their freedom, as in so many other cases, is punished, violated, with tragic results. The project “Corpi violati” by the Compagnia Artemis Danza, founded and directed by Monica Casadei, takes its cue from the many stories of gender violence told in literature and melodrama, only a small number compared to the infinite number of stories in the daily news.

The young dancers of the advanced training course StudioXL, directed by Emanuela Baratin and Laura Matano, dance the choreographies of Giovanni Insaudo, Nunzio Perricone, Laura Matano and Daniele Bianco.

Stefania Tansini is a young and talented choreographer who is increasingly winning over critics and audiences.
For the first time the Fonderia is hosting one of her works: a search for life, free from ideological or intellectual superstructures. The attempt to reveal in a pure way what moves us, towards others and towards the world.
